Ahle-Sunnat Wal Jamaat to Hold Peaceful Sit-ins in Karachi

Ahle-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) has announced plans to stage peaceful sit-ins at 60 different locations across Karachi, starting tomorrow, as reported by Express News. The demonstrations are being organized under the guidance of prominent leaders like Allama Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi and Allama Aurangzeb Farooqi.

Sit-ins to Take Place at Key Locations Across the City

The party’s spokesperson revealed that the sit-ins will be held at significant locations, including Liaquatabad Super Market, Nazimabad, Saeedi Market, Nagan Chowrangi, and other areas throughout Karachi. The protests are set to extend to various spots such as Korangi No. 5, Sukh Chakkar, Gulshan Chowrangi, and Sharae Faisal, covering a wide range of the city.

MWM Leader Emphasizes Peaceful Nature of Sit-ins

In response to the upcoming sit-ins, Majlis-e-Wahdate Muslimeen (MWM) leader Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi clarified that the demonstrations are peaceful and not affiliated with any political groups. He stressed that the purpose of the sit-ins is to address the demands of the people of Parachinar and urged the Sindh government not to exploit the situation for political gains.

Allama Naqvi highlighted the inclusive nature of the protests, welcoming individuals from all faiths and religions to express solidarity at the Numaish Chowrangi sit-in. He emphasized that the sit-ins are a collective effort of the oppressed, aiming to draw attention to the basic issues faced by the residents of Parachinar.
