Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry was seen addressing the media at a press conference yesterday, and boy, did he have a lot to say. The major general emphasized that Pakistan is all about that peace-loving life, but if India decides to act up, they better be ready for a smackdown. According to him, any form of Indian aggression will be met with a swift and decisive response. You go, Major General Ahmed Sharif!
The military spokesperson did not hold back, stating that Pakistan will never bow down to Indian hegemony. He made it crystal clear that Pakistan is not here for any regional dominance games. In his own words, “the sooner they [India] realise this, the better it will be for regional peace and the world.” Preach, Major General, preach.
Lt Gen Chaudhry also pointed out that rising extremism and terrorism in India can be attributed to their domestic policies, particularly their crackdowns on religious minorities like Muslims and Sikhs. This, he believes, is only adding fuel to the fire of internal unrest. The major general was not shy about calling out India for their actions.
