Security Forces Eliminate Four Terrorists in North Waziristan IBO

In a successful intelligence-based operation in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, security forces have eliminated four terrorists, the military’s media wing reported on Wednesday. The operation, carried out overnight between January 14 and 15, targeted a hideout where credible intelligence reports confirmed the presence of the terrorists.

Arms Cache Recovery

During the operation, a heavy exchange of gunfire ensued, resulting in the neutralization of four terrorists. Additionally, security forces recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the site. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed that the terrorists were actively involved in various terrorist activities targeting security forces and the indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians.

Chief of Army Staff’s Assurance

General Munir emphasized that despite attempts by adversaries to instill fear and instability, Pakistan’s security forces will continue to stand firm and respond decisively to any threats aimed at disrupting the country’s peace.

During his visit, General Munir received a detailed briefing on the current security situation, including the ongoing counterterrorism operations against extremist groups like “Khawarij.” He praised the exemplary sacrifices and determination of the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, highlighting the significant progress made in dismantling terrorist networks and eliminating key leaders.
