NADRA Introduces Hassle-Free Biker Service for Karachi Citizens

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has recently rolled out a groundbreaking service in Karachi, tailored to enhance convenience for residents in the bustling city.

Effortless Service for Karachi Citizens

This innovative initiative by NADRA aims to revolutionize the way citizens interact with essential services by eliminating the need for long waits and tedious queues. The new service is slated to kick off on Monday, offering Karachi’s residents a seamless experience for obtaining and renewing national identity cards, along with other crucial services, as reported by Express News.

On-Demand Biker Fleet

Initially, a fleet of three bikers will cater to the needs of Karachi’s population, with Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas each receiving one biker to provide the service. However, plans are in place to expand the biker fleet by adding ten more bikes in the near future. These dedicated representatives will be equipped with specialized backpacks containing all the necessary processing equipment to ensure a swift and efficient service delivery.

Cost-Effective Convenience

For citizens opting for the at-home service, a nominal additional fee of Rs1,000 will be charged. This fee covers Rs825 for the service itself and Rs175 as delivery charges, making it a cost-effective and time-saving option for those unable to visit NADRA centers in person.

In the wake of recent advancements in digitalization, NADRA has taken a proactive stance by closing down its website and transitioning to a more user-friendly mobile application. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made this announcement during a workshop, emphasizing the need to safeguard citizens from fraudulent activities involving fake identification documents and unauthorized use of personal information.

Just a few weeks ago, NADRA Mega Centres nationwide introduced 4-hour passport counters in response to public demand for more accessible services. Following the directives of Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi, the Passport Department established 10 dedicated passport processing counters at NADRA Mega Centres in Karachi, ensuring round-the-clock availability of services at convenient locations like Siemens Chowrangi in Nazimabad and Site areas.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, NADRA’s commitment to enhancing service accessibility and security remains unwavering, promising a future where essential services are just a click away.
