Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir recently made a visit to Quetta to meet with the injured children and other victims of a tragic attack on a school bus in Khuzdar on May 21, 2025. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least five individuals, including three schoolchildren. The visit aimed to show solidarity with the affected families and assess the situation on the ground.
The Prime Minister expressed a strong resolve to combat foreign-sponsored terrorism, particularly highlighting India’s role in targeting children. He emphasized the need for urgent attention from the international community to address such heinous acts. The visit also included briefings from Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and Quetta Corps Commander to gain a comprehensive understanding of the incident.
Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack as a cowardly act of terrorism orchestrated by Indian proxies. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring the security and sovereignty of the nation. The visit shed light on the escalating threats posed by state-sponsored terrorism and the need for a unified response to combat such challenges.
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like the international community should really take notice of these deliberate attacks on innocent children. Not really sure why this matters, but it’s essential to address the root causes of such atrocities to prevent future tragedies. The visit to Quetta highlighted the critical need for collective action against terrorism and emphasized the significant role of all nations in promoting peace and security.
