Pakistan done a cool thing on Monday by launching a new missile called Fatah series surface-to-surface missile. This missile can go up to 120 kilometers, which is pretty far if you ask me, according to the military’s media wing. The launch was part of this military thing called “Ex INDUS”, which sounds like a pretty big deal.
The goal of the launch was to make sure the troops are ready to go and to check if the missile system works right. They wanted to see if the navigation system was top-notch and if the targeting accuracy was on point. The launch was watched by some big shots from the army, along with some smart scientists and engineers from the country’s strategic organizations.
After the test, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir gave props to the team and said they trust the armed forces to protect Pakistan’s borders from any outside threats. This was the second missile launch in just two days, which is pretty intense considering the tension between Pakistan and India right now.
On Saturday, Pakistan launched another missile called Abdali, which went well according to the military. Back in May 2024, they also tested a rocket system called Fatah-II, which could go up to 400 kilometers. It seems like Pakistan is really stepping up their missile game lately.
Overall, it’s great to see Pakistan testing out these missiles and making sure they’re ready for anything. It shows that they’re serious about protecting their country and their people. Hopefully, they won’t have to use these missiles for anything other than training in the future.
