Security Forces Eliminate 19 Terrorists in K-P Operations

In a recent development reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) conducted multiple operations resulting in the elimination of 19 terrorists. These operations were carried out in response to actionable intelligence regarding the presence of Khwarij militants in various districts of the province.

Details of the Operations

The first operation occurred in the Matani area of Peshawar District, where security forces successfully neutralized eight Khwarij militants. A subsequent engagement in Baizai, Mohmand District, led to the elimination of eight more terrorists. In Karak District, three terrorists were killed by security forces during another operation targeting a Khwarij location.

Sacrifices Made

Tragically, three soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice during these operations. Lance Havaldar Abbas Ali, Naik Muhammad Nazir, and Naik Muhammad Usman bravely laid down their lives while engaging in the firefights. These courageous soldiers, aged between 37 and 38 years, hailed from Districts Ghizer, Skardu, and Attock, respectively.

Government’s Response

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their success in eliminating the terrorists, emphasizing the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security in the country. He paid tribute to the martyred soldiers, acknowledging their bravery and sacrifice in the line of duty.
