Notorious MQM-London Hitman Arrested in Orangi Town
In a significant breakthrough, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) police in Karachi apprehended a notorious target killer, identified as Shakeel alias Haddi, allegedly affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L). The arrest took place during a targeted operation in Orangi Town, where the police also recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from the suspect.

During the initial interrogation, SIU SSP Irfan Bahadur disclosed that Shakeel had confessed to his involvement in more than 100 murders. Furthermore, Shakeel confessed to attacking Awami National Party (ANP) leader Bashir Jan and orchestrating the targeted killing of ANP’s Shah Faisal Colony in-charge, Nabi Gul, among other heinous crimes.

The chilling revelations continued as SSP Bahadur revealed that Shakeel was responsible for the murder of a medico-legal officer at Qatar Hospital and MQM-Haqiqi’s Asif Malang. Additionally, Shakeel was implicated in the horrific act of setting fire to the ‘astana’ of Khalid Baba, resulting in the tragic deaths of three individuals. Most disturbingly, Shakeel acknowledged carrying out these acts of violence on the orders of the MQM-L leadership, targeting individuals based on ethnicity, sect, and political affiliations.
